Woohooo..Today is launch day for the Common Camera Project. (Common Cam, www.commoncam.org)
The Mission
We like disposable cameras, and we believe that they can create something special. Thus, over the next month we aim to introduce over 100 disposable cameras into the world in search of inspiration. Lots of it.The Story
In 2009, we began distributing disposable cams with a simple set of instructions on the back:1. Take a picture of something that inspires you.
2. Pass the camera on to someone you trust.
3. If you’re last, mail the camera back to us.We plan to release hundreds of cams, and we’ve already heard some amazing stories. Cameras found their way to the East Coast, West Coast, California beaches, Rocky Mountains, Vietnam, India, family member mailboxes, and teacher dropboxes.
Weeks, months, years… We’re prepared to wait, excited to find out how far our cams have traveled, and jealous of the sights they’ll see. :) We’d love for you to join the Common Cam family. Learn more at www.commoncam.org
